The barbarians attack! Full war has broken out in the dead of night. As humanity struggles against itself, Christoph and his brother take defensive actions - both freshly stained with the blood of an enemy. Their reward comes as a star burning in the night sky. Like a sun falling to earth, their awe quickly burns away in the raging inferno.

Glory and honor are sought by many. Upon the fields of battle, where many men have found it before, these boys are subjected to the reality of it all. Glory is recalled for the men that never lost. Those that fall in battle outnumber those that rise through the ranks and hear the people cheer. Christoph must endure this hell.

The battle with the barbarians will come soon. The boys are trained as best as a noble and soldiers can provide in just a few days. Still, the nation has entrusted this to these boys and their noble leader - Nodure.

The young and the practiced soldiers are ready. The noble has his battle plan prepared. Blood will be spilled, and the noble doesn't mind losing a few boys to battle.

Christoph continues on toward the region of Surton Spire. A massive collection of twisted stones like three nails coiling around a central, thin mountain. This ancient place casts a shadow over the lands. They march toward this haunting monument of nature to prepare for battle with the barbarian hordes.

Christoph's journey begins. He sets off with his younger brother to fight for his nation and family. What honor awaits him? He can't wait to find out.
