Sashro is a great help, but even using simple status-effect spells on living targets is troublesome. The two do not share a moral compass.

Griffon Nodure has been tasked with returning to the village of Rothmire. Now, unlike his first voyage, he brings true soldiers in great numbers. The empire was not so concerned with reports of roaming barbarian savages, yet the unknown slayer and vengeful judge of Carmoss was another story.

Gohdin has taken up the crown. Paperwork and orders become his daily life. Word reaches his ear of the empire's investigation into the slaughters of Carmoss and Rothmire. Surton Spire will lock down once more.

The gods play their games of dice and chance. Whatever the outcome, mortals are not meant to know just how the gods worked their mysterious plans. An oddity in their game creates a moment of chaos for three gods while two others, mostly forgotten to the world of mortals, watch from a distance.
They seem to have grown bored of waiting for their names to die, and so they choose to sow some of their own chaos. They set out to the Protharian Empire.

Gohdin is given his reports. The citizens of Surton Spire are growing restless and rebellion has taken to them as a virus. They say Gohdin is weak. The dragonkin disagrees.

Carmoss has been left a graveyard. What of those that return home to find it has changed so drastically?

Christoph returns to The Spire. All he has done weighs heavily upon the king. As do all decisions made beneath the might of the crown.

Christoph finishes the barbarian warriors without so much as a scratch on his person. Inspiring his guards, they relish in the victory. Yet, Christoph feels hollow in his conquest. The undead mind cares little for the fate of the living... and those that would not fight still remain breathing. Christoph gives the order.

Christoph's body is now immortal... unbreakable.His mind is not. As the human portion of his being struggles externally against the barbarian hordes, it battles the undead and dragonkin mentally.

Lord Gohdin has taken to executing the barbarian invaders with extreme prejudice and efficiency. Calzion Dreadleaf rests at his post hoping to at least get one sliver of action - a chance to prove himself to the King of the Undead. Perhaps this woman running to his gate, his charge, would offer him the chance.
