Calzion and Gitma bring their disguised king into the small village of Rothmire. Christoph has been waiting to return to his family (and escape his living nightmare) for some time. There are whispers in the mountain. Whispers from monsters wanting to be monsters... tired of being trapped as cattle beneath the mount. They whisper of plots and schemes as the king rides out. Monsters have had enough.

Christoph sets out with Calzion and Gitma as his guard. Riding atop grand horses, the king is visibly uncomfortable. With doting guards, painful bouncing, and the uncertainty of his new life, more of the king's power is unleashed. In the presence of his subjects, he need only breathe to spread the fear of death.
